The Overnight Fund

COVID-19 and the powerful political actions that have made national uprisings against systemic racism possible - have many of us thinking about the times we have had to survive the night in order to begin again in the morning.

The Overnight Fund is a small mutual aid initiative that helps Black LGBTQIA+ women, femmes, and nonbinary people stay housed.

It can be difficult sometimes to to ask for help. It can be difficult to be open about the ways your oppression keeps you from putting groceries on your table or keeping your lights on at night. The Overnight Fund exists as a rapid response fund that addresses the need for resources in Black LGBTQIA+ communities whose struggles with housing and food insecurity have only become increasingly amplified in the face of COVID-19.

Get Involved

The more donations - no matter the amount -that we receive; the more we are able to re-distribute funds across our community and help people get through this stressful and difficult times. Donate what you can with the button below and we’ll re-direct the funds to Black LGBTQIA+ freedom workers who are requesting aid.
